Project Summary

Design/Uplift a digital platform with cloud platform, enterprise accounts, capture shipment records stored under extreme temperature and humidity conditions (-30 to 60 C), save and share records, generate reports fleet with avaliable technology, configure setting to re-use the dataloggers including re-calibration.

My Actions

• Lead design and closely work with industrial designer, marketing teams, project and business team, B2B partners, vendors, licensing, branding

• Onsite observations, focus groups with Pharma and Dairy industry leads

• Usability research of legacy systems

• Iterative testing and refining to live-test on site while running trials

Painpoints

• Datalogger needs more shelf life of 6months over a year and possibility of re-calibration

• Variants for domestic and international shipments as some countries have basic technology such as USB

• Report generated to be accessible for a wide user groups (company stakeholder, warehouse manager, driver of the shipment, Doctors, etc) within the shipment chain management, easier to share

• Return to datelogger or designed for onetime use which costs less

Painpoints:

• To track false claims by secondary markets/accuracy

• Easy data retrieval using basic end-user technology (warehouse workforce, shipment drivers and workforce)

• Access to historical data

• Disposal of loss of products and reverse logistics

• The usability research reported medium to high 70% issues in the legacy systems and not fit for the new product launch.

• It influenced stakeholders to fund/update new digital desktop App.

After analysis of all the inputs from research, onsite trials, understanding constraints the team implemented updates in the existing App as per existing brand and design systems.
